The book provides a good foundation for the use of the bell curve and its merits and criticisms. I use the bell curve daily to describe results on school testing so it was of particular interest to me.

It has become taboo to recognize that people have different abilities. We do well to remember that, and this book is a useful reminder of that fact.

Presents a very biased version of race, social class, and family makeup as regards to intelligence.

Interesting read, but really not very accurate, IMO and in the minds of many reputable researchers.
