Has anyone read the Blanco County, Texas series by Ben Rehder? If so, what are your thoughts? I'm looking for something my son might like.

I think I tried to read Buck Fever last year and gave up after a few chapters. If it's the book I remember, it was sort of humorous, good ol' boy stuff that just didn't appeal to me. Maybe they are more "guy" books. **shrugs**
