Ok, I think I have seen this post before but I cannot find it. So now I have to ask the question to all of you again (Soooooo sorry)!

Is it true that if you have someone on your buddy list add a wishlisted book that you wanted or where maybe already in line for (though not first). Then that person can actually give it to you over the other people because you are buddies? I am very curious. Did I just make this up in my own crazy mind?

If it is true, is there a place where I can find it in the Help Doc or Rules?

Thank you for helping me out.

Yes, a buddy can post a post to your wish list.

Here is the link to the help file (it's the bottom choice):

Yes, you can post a book directly to someone's Wish List.  They don't have to be on your buddy list to do this, you just go to their WL and click the "post book" button from there.  That posts the book right to that person, no matter where they are in line.

And when you post the book directly to someone's WL, it will state that you are posting to so-and-so's WL on the page after you click the post this book, so that you are assured that you really are doing it right.

Anyone can post a book to anyone else's wishlist.  You don't have to be buddies.

You aren't crazy!!  LOL

Feel free to post all the books you want directly to my wishlist.  I won't mind the least little bit.

Heck, I think I should add the whole PBS world to my buddy list now. Thanks for the prompt replies!

Wow, I'm new and still learning -- this is a GOOD thing to know!  I have many Many unpostables that may be on a W/L - how do we find that out?  Or, how do we know who would take our unpostables? There are too many to keep listing in the Bazaar (That thread makes me cross-eyed. LOL)...

Everyone, please add me as your Buddy!!!!!!!!!! hehe

Dawn, in the games forum, there is a Damaged Virtual Box going.  in a week or two, I'm sure that they will be taking more signups.  On this forum, we basically swap unpostable books.  Here's the link, http://www.paperbackswap.com/forum/topic.php?t=106103

Sometimes if I have a highly WLed book, I'll check through my buddy list to see if there's someone I could send it to.  I know that the buddies on my list will accept right away, or have their WL on auto request so I don't have to wait forever to get it accepted in the system.  When I decide to send on a book, I want to get rid of it right away!

Anyone can add me as a buddy - you can never have enough buddies in life, right?

there's a thread in the book bazaar somewhere (sometimes gets several pages down) that's for unpostable wishlisted books..you can't ask for a credit for them but can offer them in a deal. most of my wishlisted books I'd take so long as they were readable but I read in athread on the bazaar that it's not right to request a damaged wishlist book because 'almost all of us would take them that way' or something to that effect..oh well!
