This is the 29th volume in the Berserk series. The book starts with Schierke facing off with some slavers; then both Isidro and Mule (Griffith's man) come to her aid. Guts and crew are struggling to find a boat out of this city. Lady Farnese offers to find them a ship; what her traveling companions don't know is that this will mean returning home to bargain with her overpowering father.

When Lady Farnese agrees to an engagement in trade for a ship, Guts and crew thinks something is strange and go to talk to her. On their way they a mysterious fog fills the city; something seems to be hunting them.

We learn a lot more background about Lady Farnese in this book and it was interesting; she has grown a lot from the character she was earlier in the series.

This manga continues to be beautifully illustrated and is packed full of great story as well as fabulous action scenes.

Overall I really enjoyed this volume of the Berserk series and continue to enjoy the series as a whole. I would recommend the whole series to mature fans of fantasy horror manga. I can't wait to see what happens next!
