I saw that some one was looking for Bertrice Small hardback book. I found one today and I was wondering if she was looking for it. The name is A Moment in Time. I did not want to post it until I knew if she still wanted it. I also have a couple others of hers that were not in posting condition. Just P.M. me if you still want them.

*giggle* yes I am, but I found them on Ebay, just have been so busy around here with trips back to Illinois for emergencies with my father in law.

Plus right now i've got to get some books sent out to get me some more credits, before I can even think of ordering again.

So am I.  It's difficult trying to find the older books.  I've already sent my husband into double damns because she's come to an agreement for the re-release of the Skye O'Malley series with a brand new cover.

I'm #2 on the wishlist for that one!  I have 1 & 3, so I'm going to wait until I get 2 to read them.   Now I'm curious, though.  All my Bertrice Smalls are keepers.  I'm wondering--do you guys keep them, too, or post them?

I kept them for a while. Then my church started with their vindetta against pornography we me.They said that if it was really graphic it was porn. I ended up giving hers up. Virginia Henley too. I kinda have to stick to harlequinn type now...Not all that interesting sometimes but oh, well. I will not give up Dorothy Garlock or Julie Garwood. I also still have Catherine Coulter's too. Maybe I have not given up as much as I thought I had hmmmm.......

Sorry about the off topic stuff. Anyway I loved Bertrice Small's books when I was reading her...Espically the Skye O'Malley saga. I cried when she died at the end of Jasmine's book.I also cried when her husband (that I can not think of his name) died. i stopped at the end of that book and have not read any of the ones about the great grandchildren.

I've read a few of Beatrice Small's historical romance books but they are not keepers and I always post them.  They do get requested quickly though so there is still an audience for them.

I am still tryng to figure out how they can classify romantic scenes with two people as pornographic?  Lady Small writes gut-wrenching "feel as if you are there" type scenes.  That is just down right silly in my opinion.

I've been reading Bertrice Small novels since I 13 and I keep all of her books.  However as of late, I've been upgrading my paperbacks to hardbacks so that I can give the series of the first 6 in "O'Malley Saga" to a friend.

And Tracey - You'll love #2.  The book is just so awesome I couldn't put it down.  Much better then #1, but  IMO #3 was even better.  #4 is due for release next year and deals with one of the characters from #3 but I won't spoil it unless you want to know.

I don't necicariily agree with the dictates of my church on the subject, but I did get rid of them to keep them quiet and happy.I need alot of church assistance, so I just sort of go with the flow. But like I said, there are some books that have kept me sane and going in times of great dispair.I can not even think of getting rid of them.I call them my old friends.

I just wanted to say that I was not offended by anyone's reply. I also do not understand why my church leaders call my books porn. I just go along with it to keep them quiet and happy. (Actually I hide my books that have half naked men and women on them behind the one with the newer "nicer" covers.shhhhh....don't tell anyone, especially the Bishop.)

hehehe.  I figure if my preacher is going to come into my home, he better understand that his 'juristiction' ends the second he enters my front door.  But you will be happy to know that Bertrice Small is having some of her novels released with the plain cover or the smaller pictures on the front.

plus she has some that doesn't have the half naked man/woman on the cover.  Check on here for older versions on here and you should find those covers that I'm talking about.

I am looking for about 10-15 titles, but I would like to order in bulk from one person or a few people as opposed to one at a time.  Does anyone have several Smalls on their posted shelf?

ETA:  I don't mean that I'm looking for a deal, I just thought it would be easier to order more from one member than order 10 seperate times.  :)  I hope that makes sense.

Thanks.  It's a line from a song called "Fireflies" by Faith Hill.  I really like the song.  :)
