Most of us have had these. You know, when you start something and it ends up going in a compleatly different direction. So, which of yours has turned out the best? Have you pulled anything intesting out of the wreck of another story? Mine would have to be Arden. I originaly created her as a much different person for a secondary charicter in another story. I then realized that she was pretty boring, so with some help (OK, lets face it a lot of help) from my brother, who's good at this sort of thing, I came up with a unque charicter that I liked so much I decided to scrap the other story and write one about her! Have you had a similer experiance? |

Yes, usually when I am doing NaNo or SocNoC (writing challenge in June, same as NaNo). Only once have I ever been able to plan out a book and not change much of it. Other times I get an idea, do a basic plot and character write ups and then let it go. How it ends up is usually totally different then what I had planned. But I find it fun and keeps things interesting as my mind is always rethinking and reworking and making things better. |
