The 2nd book in this series. Fast and entertaining book. I liked this book just as much as the first, maybe a little more. Abby gets herself mucked up with the wrong people and sets out to help solve another mystery. And all the while she not just having a bad day, but a bad month! She's funny, fiesty and doesn't take any guff from anyone. I'm looking forward to reading the next in the series.

Didnt think the second book could possibly be as good as the first. Was I surprised. Abbey is a terrific character. Makes me wish I knew her. So far this series is one that you cant wait to get to the end to see how it turns out, but you hate to finish because you dont want to leave that world.

despite it's title not really a cosy, really good, but scarier than i expected, between the mob and the rapist, the attempts on her life were a little too "real",
but, i really enjoyed it anyways... and can't wait to read more.
oh yeah.. AND it had a dachshund in it too!

Another fun story in the Psychic Eye series. In this one, Abby agrees to read tarot cards at a wedding, and lands herself in hot water with the Mob.

2nd book in the series. Really enjoy this author. The main character is very likeable. She tends to keep getting herself in trouble. Can't wait to read the 3rd book.

Second in the series. Almost but not quite as cute and fluffy as the first, with Abby getting into trouble with the mob. You could spend a long time speculating on how Abby's psychic powers work and why she doesn't use them when you think she ought to. But it's best just to go with the flow here. Loved the beginning scenes with the sister. I liked Abby's attempts to get herself out of the situation, at times she had some good ideas, but the decision of the mob family at the very end seemed doubtful. Not as fond of how Abby flies off the handle whenever the boyfriend is around - why isn't she asking her intuition about him (oh wait, I said I wasn't going to do that). Anyway, still fun, still willing to read the next in the series.

Quick read! Not as good as the first one, but still a solid, enjoyable book. Looking forward to reading the third!

I *almost* threw this book across the room! Abby did several dumbass things and had me yelling. For example: At the wedding she reads at she actually TELLS one of attendees she knows he has killed before. (Why do that!?) Of course that gets attention. Oh look, I'm going to hire you and you can't say no! Through all this, Abby tries to handle all of this by herself and tells lie after lie, all the while digging herself deeper and deeper. She has a friend in the police department that she trusts. Did she tell him/ask for advice/help? Nope. Pretty sweet- her boyfriend is a FBI agent. What about him? Nope.
Then there's Dutch. I. Don't. Like. Him. He has the nerve to make her feel guilty when he's going away on assignment? He has the nerve to diss what she does? He has the nerve to be embarrassed by her profession? Excuse me, but Abby needs to dump him and dump permanently.
I've read the synopsis for future books, but I can wish, right? I'm on the fence about continuing this series. Abby was TSTL in this one and I don't like her main squeeze. Is book 3 better? Do the characters redeem themselves?
I gave a 3 because it had me entertained me and had some decent twists.
