Would you rather have all the books in a given series - some times 3,4,or 5, especially if you know the author, - or would you rather order each book individually? In these days of rising postage it would seem a better idea to send books as a series rather than individually. I realize that if one hasn't yet read a certain author, one may not want to order a set without first "tasting" that author. Opinions? |

I agree with you. I think it would be better to get several in a series. |

i would rather order the whole set up front. there have been times when, for whatever reason, a certain book in the series will go out of print and you wait for ages to find it, and you can't move on in the series b/c it's #3 |

I agree that it is really nice when you can get the whole series at the same time, however there are so many people waiting on pieces of series that if everyone started sending the series as a whole they would never get the one book they have been waiting on. I have had a great time getting pieces of series that I was missing for one reason or another.
I just received two books by authors I enjoy but didn't have those particular books yet.

I love ordering and sending all or part of a series together. I've done that a couple of times. |

I like to send books as a series if possible to save on postage. It's also nice to have the books to read in order and not have to wait for #3, #4, etc. |

I like the idea for authors I know which is why I keep track of the deals thread just in case something comes up. Otherwise I'd rather wait it out on the WL if I'm just testing a new author (unless it's an actual deal and not someone wanting 2 credits to keep the books together). |
