I started reading betty neels when I was about 11 or 12 my grandmother gave me my first book.  I think i stopped reading and have recently picked up reading her again.  Didn't know that she had passed away.  I been trying to get all of her books and am having a hard time with some of them.  Is there anyone out there that is a fan of her work like i am?

I think she was one of the first Mills & Boons authors I read : probably when I was about 11 or 12, along with Flora Kidd, Penny Jordan, etc.  At that time my mom used to pick up the Woman's Weekly magazine, and she was one of authors they used for their fiction (an installment every week).  I picked up some of her books in the last year : just to revisit I guess.  She's like Debbie Maccomber for me: I'll pick up one of their books when I want a 'gentle" everything is ok romance type of book.

I don't know what it is about her-so many of the plots are the same, yet I find them so comforting to read.  Some of them I've read several times.

Helen, I have a bunch of her books that I have not posted on my bookshelf yet.  If you PM me with the ones you are having trouble finding, I'll see if they're in my collection.
