Synopsis
Inspector Andy Dalziel and his partner Peter Pascoe are called in to investigate the abduction of a little girl. They find connections to a 15-year-old case in which three girls disappeared during a flood that wiped out their small town. A New York Times Notable Book for 1998 and a 1999 Publishers Weekly Best Book.
