The conclusion of the duet featuring identical twins allows gifted healer Aliss to find her destiny after being kidnapped by Rogan, leader of the Wolf clan.

With his people dying, Rogan needs Aliss. He takes her captive with the proviso that once his people are well, he will bring her home. However, he has an ulterior motive: if he can hold Aliss for ransom, he can gain control of the Isle of Non.

Though kind and gentle, Aliss is also a determined woman whose courage wins Rogan's heart. She returns his passion and proposes marriage, not knowing she is playing right into his plans.

When her sister and family arrive, Aliss learns of Rogan's betrayal and he must find a way to win her heart again.

Great sequel from Donna Fletcher. The Bewitching Twin throws together Aliss (the docile twin) together with Rogan (Laird of the Wolf Clan). Aliss is a dedicated healer and has decided not to marry because a husband would make her give it all up. Rogan has proved that he will support her in whatever she does. He even carries her medicinal basket for her! There's nothing like a rough and tough kilted man who succumbs to love!

This book was a thrilling conclusion to the Twin's story. You have to read THE DARING TWIN first, and I have to admit that one ended a little abruptly, then this book explains it all! I can't gush enough about this series - well written, well developed characters and plot! You will get swallowed up in the brutal politics of these clans as they fall in love and claim land. Give it a try! You'll love it!

In the middle of the sixteenth century Scotland, Rogan the Wolf has renowned healer Aliss abducted from her family because a terrible stomach ailment is causing havoc amidst his clan. Aliss at first assumes the worst about the barbarian, but once she realizes his people really need her skill, she rolls up her sleeves to try to heal them. He vows to her that once she heals his villagers, she will go home.

Rogan is shocked by her courage as he always heard her sister Fiona was THE DARING TWIN while Aliss is stunned by his kindness and caring towards his people as she heard he was no better than a beast. As they work together with her trying to figure out the cause of the illness, Rogan and Aliss fall in love. She knows her family especially Fiona would never accept Wolf as her mate though a marriage to him would end the curse that her clan fears will harm them.

Though lacking some of the mystery that turned THE DARING TWIN into a terrific historical romance, THE BEWITCHING TWINS is an engaging sixteenth century romance starring two intriguing protagonists. Readers will enjoy the changing relationship between Rogan and Aliss as he wonders who has captured whom. The story line can stand alone though most fans will prefer to read the other twin's tale first. Donna Fletcher provides a fine tale that hopefully will follow up with the non-twin sibling's story soon.

I really enjoyed reading this book. The story line was constantly going and it didn't seem to wind down to the last few chapters. I like to read a book that keeps the story in constant motion.

Donna Fletcher is a great writer. The characters in both of the twin books, were great, you never knew what they would do next. The story was one where you started the book you couldn't put it down. I know after the first one, I had to read the second one to find out what this twin would do, because she said she would never get married. I highly recommend these to anyone. (If you haven't read her, give these tow a try.)
