I know the book sounds cheezy but I just couldn't get past the feeling that I needed to possess it. I decided to buy it on Amazon as the wait for me my dearly beloved's had already been 2 years. I was curious to see what the dearly departed had passed on. For those of you on the wish list wondering if it is worth the time laying in wait I am here to pry open the casket & tell the secrets from the world beyond. The recipes of the delicious morsels so dear to the families that were never written down have been resurrected. This unique book claims earthbound spirits have shared these cherished recipes with their loved ones. They have now been printed and shared along with the interesting story that are great fun to read of each kind hearted, sometimes feisty spirit. Recipes shared are not tv recipes, trendy recipes or recipes with fancy ings. They are simple recipes from typical homes, basic kitchens tried & true recipes. They are the recipes that came from mothers, grandmothers and grandfathers. Because it is the claim of the authors that these recipes have passed on by family spirits then who can really say it isn't so? I don't feel I wasted my money and it is fun to have this book added to my cookbook shelf. Who knows, maybe the recipe from the beyond for homemade noodles on page 263 is better than the one I have been rolling up. Whatever you decide, I have decided it is fun to proclaim that I now possess a book of recipes collected from spirits who came back to make sure that their family favorites would stay alive.
