I enjoyed reading about Marianna's life back in Indiana, as she and Aaron prepare for their wedding. The people there sure made things hard for her. I enjoyed the letters scattered throughout the book, and trying to decide whether Ben or Aaron wrote them. The end of the series was satisfying, though I'm sad there won't be any more books about Marianna. I would love to see a book about Naomi & Levi, as well as more about Aaron, Rebecca, Ike, Annie, maybe even Marianna's Aunt Ida (what turned her into such a judgmental sourpuss anyway?!) and others from the series... Mostly, I'm sad to see the series end.

I have loved this series by Tricia Goyer and don't want it to end. Marianna has been a wonderful character to follow as she discovers God in a personal way, which is a way most of her Amish friends disapprove of and consider prideful.. i highly recommended Beyond Hope's Valley!
Great book! This is number #3 of a triology. At some points I thought that maybe all three books could have been combined into one long book, but this final book really made the triology worth it! Good story line and an indredible testimony of God working in and through people.
