I enjoyed this book. It explores events in the bible and how they correspond to archeological realities. There are many biblical quotes put into context, and the writing style is intelligent but understandable. It is obviously very bible-centric, but even as a non-religious person I enjoyed the information and the learning. For some reason or other, this ISBN came up with a book that has Maya Angelou on the cover. No Maya Angelous were harmed or for that matter present during the writing or reading of this book. :)

"The Bible as History" is a book that proves to me that Jesus was
a real man and the Son of God just as he said he was. Things that
were written about in the Bible actually happened because we have
proof they were real. When TV and movie producers say they have the
"Bones of Jesus and his family", we know they are wrong and this
book helps to show why they are not telling the true story.
