A small but thick book containing beautiful pictures of well-known Bible stories. The author provides a paragraph or so of a summary of the Bible story for little ones to hear read to them by a parent/caregiver. What I like most about this book is the short discussion questions at the end of each story/picture. A pleasant way to see if the child is listening as well as a wonderful "talking" moment between reader and child. Child like faith is amazing and this books only helps foster it!

The author of this book is Kenneth Taylor...somehow the PBS system has the author name wrong. Anyway, this book has depicts Bible stories illustrated with classical-style paintings.
