The Hebrew language and culture commentary is quite helpful for studying Song of Songs. However, the application sections should be taken with a grain of salt, as it frequently appears that the author places doctrinal importance on his own interpretations of the text. As the volume is quite slim, it is helpful as a light introduction to the study of the biblical poem.
