This book has fabulous illustrations and manages to teach us a lesson about judging others based on what they look like. The story is about Big Al, whose appearance is scary to the other fish. He does so much to try and fit in without success. Then one day he gets to use his unique talent and is then appreciated for who he is. I found the story a great way to teach children about being proud of who they are and their unique traits.
