I thought this book to be just ok. It's a sweet book about a boy and his dog. I would recommend it if you enjoyed "Lassie", "Old Yeller",or "Where the Red Fern Grows".

This is a great read aloud. A good book for boys. Not a romance, just a good story abouta boy and his love for a dog and the dog's love for him.

This is the classic tale of a boy and his dog. Still as good now and when written. This never goes out of style and better than Disney's movie of the book with Walter Pigeon.
