I just received a book request with the following RC.   No way would I accept this one.  I think I will start a collection of strange RC's :)

I take care of what i Own. i Do Not Post Books that are all "beat-to-death". i Recycle that kind of thing.

If i Receive a Book with the Flaws ,or Imperfections , Listed Below , i will

Contact the Member to Return such a Book , Graphic Novel , Coloring Book & so on :

i cannot accept books from "Smoking" Homes...(Allergy)

i cannot accept Books with indications of Mold Scent...or the Scent of Animals ; i can live with Cat Home's scent , since i own a Cat.

i cannot accept Books with more than Minor Folds or Creases or edge tears and cuts

to any areas of the covers. The number of "dimples" need to be Limited.

If a Book appears ready to be Recycled, Please say You can't send it.

Wow, not sure they get many books with that RC but good luck to them!  Not sure I'd want to send a book to them either.

Decline.  The credit is not worth the trouble.

Wowzers.

The only RCs I decline right off the bat are smoke smells and cats because my cat smokes (LOL).

I'd have to decline that one, though...

Dimples???

I was wondering about that myself. I'm trying to imagine what they mean.

I wouldn't accept the request, either.

And 20% of the book or less having corner folds/creases? I don't have books like that on my Shelf, but if I did I surely wouldn't count the pages to figure out the percentage. But I bet they would. Not worth the potential stress.

Wait.  Where are they finding coloring books?  I though those were not okay to post.

(Of course I would have said no way before that...  Dimples?  Creases?)

Coloring books aren't postable, per the Help Center, but sometimes they get posted anyway.

I would look at my book (carefully!) and if it met that member's conditions, I would send it.

Whatever a book dimple is, the poor thing seems to have passed away.

I would decline this one.  Agree with Mary, the one credit is not worth what would most likely be a hassle.

I accept all RCs (that my book meets). Never had any problems doing that whatsoever. I would accept this one too. What it boils down to, is, they don't want books that are excessively used, or written in. OK.

If a Book appears ready to be Recycled, Please say You can't send it.

All my books either come from PBS, half.ebay.com, bookmooch, yard sales, thrift stores, or given to me so technically they are recycled.  I'd reject this RC in a heartbeat.  I don't think they are going to get many acceptances. And what in the heck is a dimple?

Techinically, I would say your books obtained from other sources are "reused", "recycled" would mean send them to the dump.

Although coloring books aren't supposed to be posted several hundred are listed.  Also would love to know what a 'dimple' in a book is.  I'd decline the RC primarily because it's too much work for one credit.  I do wish the person luck in getting books though. Pat
