The 1st sentence shows how the book handles issues in a way that children can understand and accept. "For a long time, the Jews had been ruled by King Herod, who was cruel and wicked."
The story continues with the appearance of an Angel telling Mary that she will be the mother of a bab son, who will become King of all the Jews.
The story ends when Joseph and Mary come back to their home in Nazareth. The last page is a great map of the Bible Lands of the New Testament.
