This is an excellent research resource book. It does have a few yellow high lights in it, but is in great condition otherwise.

'Bismark and the German Empire' is a facinating look at the 19th century's most cunning diplomat and statesman. The reader is taken on a journey through the political life of Bismark and his Machiavellian scheming that brought Prussia to new heights of power. We also see the beginnings of the systems of alliances which would come into play in the First World War. For anyone interested in late 19th century European politics 'Bismark and the German Empire' is must reading.
