My father who is 60 years old (not really that old) has been having some pretty seriously vision problems as of late.  He had a Macular Hole in his right eye, and the surgery just didn't go well at all.  Unfortunately, his vision in his right eye is now even worse than it was before the surgery.

Well, he started having some real problems seeing through his left eye about three weeks ago... maybe a month.  He went to a different doctor and was diagnosed with the same problem in his left eye this time.  Monday morning, he will need to be at the hospital at 11AM for two hours of pre-op procedures, surgery lasts about 60 to 90 minutes.  After that, it's usually 30 minutes to an hour of recovery before he can be taken home.

While my mom can function, she has Fibromyalgia (it's nasty... go check it out on Wikipedia if you want more details).  Both my mother and father would very much appreciate me driving them to the hospital, sitting there with them during the pre-op, surgery, and recovery time, and drive them back home.  I have absolutely zero problem doing that as I love my parents to death.

But, that's four hours or more of time, and my mom suggested that I bring something to do (like a book to read or a magazine or something) during that wait time.  The problem simply is that, being a newbie, I had the mass rush of book buying and spent probably $65 to $70 on postage and packing supplies not only blowing my grocery budget but also giving me no leeway to buy a book to read while there.

There is one book that I really do want right now and would really help pass the time as we wait during my father's surgery.  Unfortunately, after *having* to ship 19 books out today (payday), I simply don't have the money to afford the book I want... even in eBook format.

I'm willing to go as low as $2.50 per credit, and you don't even have to buy them in lots.  You can buy just one.  One will get me 1/4 of the way there :)

I do have a paypal account.  I know I won't get access to the money immediately that way, but PayPal should have it in my bank accounts soon enough.

Thanks

SG

Edit: Peter T. was kind enough to buy all four credits from me to give me the money needed to buy the book.  Thank you so very much!
