The plot was decent but I found the characters to be slightly annoying due to dialect.

#4 is the series, but you really don't have to read them in order to know what is going on. This was a nice exciting read and i have read #2 and then #4 and managed to know just what was going on. I enjoyed the read and if i can find numbers 1 and 3 i'll read them also. :)
