This book is pretty much the same as the original Black Beauty except it is shortened and made easier for younger readers. Black Beauty is definately a classic and I think that everyone should read it sometime during their life in one form or another.
This is a great book for someone who liked the origional black beauty. The only difference is that the words are printed in a slightly larger font then in the origionals.

This is great classic for younger readers. Deidre S. Laiken has adapted the language to suit a younger audience than the original.
