On Friday, I got a tip from the store manager that Dollar Tree (every store) is getting a big shipment of books.  As you know, they are only $1.00.  I am getting a little low on trading books, so I'm going to at least two.  This is what I do after stepping in a few potholes in the beginning:  Take your smart phone.  Call up PBS, Wish List Wanted Books, and put in the ISBN number of the book from the store.  It will quickly tell you if anyone one is wishing for this book.  If 45 people are wishing for the book, use your own judgement on how many to buy.  You may even find some for yourself.  They are mostly hardbacks, but some paperbacks.

We have a Dollar tree store. It has only been open a few months. Our store does not have books.

ALL of our Dollar Trees in Dallas have a book section, including coloring books.  I went to 2 stores and ended up with about 30 books.  If I could drive I would go to 2 more.  I used my phone to determine if the book is WL'd.

Let me point out that these are only the top layer of books in my new book box..  I have more. They will be coming up on my bookshelf a few at a time.  I'm already closed for this week.

I just came back from Dollar Tree, yes, this week's special deal is brand new books.  I picked up 2 hardback copies of Hot X Algebra Exposed, there are 40 people here wishing for it.
