This story about the early troubles between England and Ireland in the reign of Elizabeth the first is an interesting story from the Irish side of the conflict along with a nice romance to go along with the fighting between the two cultures. This book has long been a favorite and it was a keeper. I lost my original copy five years ago when I moved from Colorado to Michigan. I am so glad I found the book again. It is definitely a keeper from the author of the Story that was turned into THE QUIET MAN starring John Wayne. Thank you for helping me find this keeper again.
