An excellent debut book by a new author for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the pacing, the characters, plot line, and the close. I look forward to additional titles from Mr. Sakey.

Pretty good book, but not great. A bit too much of the "there's no way he would do that" factor. But a good story in general on the bad boy, gone good, pulled back to bad 'against his will', etc.... Not really a mystery since it's all out in the open, but some pretty decent suspense.

Good for a first novel. I very much enjoyed the writing style, particularly the dialogue. Although I had some quibbles with the plot and characters, I will definitely be reading this author's other books.
