âBlame It on Paradiseâ is Mrs. Hubbard second interracial romance novel. She takes us on a beautiful tour of a South Pacific Island and weaves quite an intriguing romance. Once again I fell in love with her characters from the very first chapter. I was thoroughly caught up in the heat and attraction between Lina and Jack. Jack is definitely a man with his priorities askew. Can Lina show him what's truly IMPORTANT in life and get him to open up and be the passionate and carefree man she came to know on her island?!! Or will he continue to believe that ONLY money can provide his EVERY happiness?!!~~~~~~~Although, âBlame It on Paradiseâ, lacks the humor that I so enjoyed in âCrushâ, it definitely has far more HOT & SPICY love scenes that will keep you turning the pages. And even though it is a bit more serious and subdued it is still quite an entertaining read. This novel definitely puts more emphasis on the interracial differences between the couple, yet, it still doesn't beat you over the head with it, like in some novels. I also felt âBlame It on Paradiseâ provided me with more closure than âCrushâ, after reading âCrushâ I felt like I was left wanting just a little more when it ended. But with this novel all the âloose endsâ were nicely tied together to give you a COMPLETE romantic treat. I also enjoyed the brief update on Miranda and Lucas.~~~~~~~I have to say of all the novels Mrs. Hubbard has written, the âWinters Family Seriesâ is still one of my ALL time favorites! That being said I will ALWAYS keep an eye out for her upcoming novels because she has yet to disappoint!
