The Blonde Theory
Author: Kristin Harmel
Do gentlemen really prefer blondes? Harper is the youngest attorney in her firm to make partner and, at thirty-five, the oldest one to remain unmarried. It seems the more successful she gets, the faster men run for the door. What to do? Apply her very expensive law school education to the problem, of course!

I enjoyed this book - it is a quick and easy read. I found it quite humorous as a blonde. In this book you follow the adventures of an attractive blonde attorney who hasn't had a date in several years and is coaxed into an experiment by her friends for 30 days ... to become a ditsy blonde :)

Being blonde (nurture not nature) it bothered me that blonde = dumb in this book. More so because the author is blonde!

This was and ejoyable read. I probably would have rated it higher, if I didn't find the main character so frusterating! For a smart lawyer, she comes off pretty dense, at times, and I just want to shake her! I was also hoping that the "blonde theory" part would explore the fun of being blonde, but it came off as more of "ditzy slut theory".

This book is a fun read, even if you are not blonde. Kristin Harmel write tightly and with a fast pace. While it would be a perfect summer-by-the-pool choice, I enjoyed it even in the dead of winter!!
