Time to give up on this series, sadly. It has all the elements of a great cozy series, but continues to disappoint with wooden characters and failure to take advantage of the few with more than one dimension. On the upside, there was a murder and it did get solved.

Love this series. Characters are getting greater all the time. Cozy and wonderful. Hope all who read enjoy. Looking forward to the next one.

One of a great mystery series set in the Charlston Historical District. Tea information and tea shop recipes to die for!

Definitely one of the best in the series. For one thing, finally(!!) Theodosia actually solved the murder and surrounding mystery. As opposed to just accidentally stumbling onto the killer as is usual for her. I still guessed the murderer by Chapter 3, but this is because the series is very predictable - the culprit is always the least written about character. Still, it was nice seeing Theodosia actually solve something and showing initiative when it comes to loose threads at the end of the book.
A good start this series.
