Complex story dealing with a mystery from WWI and the recent suspicious death of a young woman in the lovely but bleak Peak District area of England. This series is very well written and quite addictive. Easy to get hooked on the characters!

If you like British mystery novels you will enjoy this. Not as edgy as Rankin, but gorier in places. Set in the Peak district.
