Perhaps I enjoyed this book more than the other reviewer as I had already read all the other Blossom Street books and was familiar with the characters and their individual stories. While some of Rooster and Lauren's story might seem far-fetched, this is not supposed to be drama, but light-hearted romance, and I found it great fun and enchanting. I look forward to following up on their marriage in later books as I enjoyed their story and didn't want it to end!
Debbie Macomber books are comfort reads for me. The Blossom Street series is kind of a soap opera, but I enjoy the way the characters thread through. This story was a little disappointing, though, in that the problems weren't really problems. Still, love and human goodness triumph, hence the comfort.
