I don't have very many trades with BoB and in fact did not renew last month.  My very last trade has never been recieved.  I did get my books in the deal.  I KNOW they were mailed as I did them myself.  I did not use DC.  Should I give her some credits since she did not get the books?  Unlike a normal swap, if a book goes missing the requester isn't out anything.  In this case she IS out the books she sent me.  I just want to be fair.  This is the only time I have had this happen on a BoB.  Thanks.

That's up to you. HOw long since you sent them?  MM can be very slow this time of year.  Have you PM'd them to ask if they received the books or not? They may have forgotten to mark them received. I'm normally really good at this but just this past week I forgot to mark a BOB box as received. I  had them for a couple of days, right by my desk and I still forgot.

I mailed on 11/6 and she has already PM'd me to ask about them.  I will probably send her some credits.  I was just wondering what everyone else did.

I haven't had the problem yet. I use DC on my BOB Orders so I have proof that I mailed them.  I suppose if I gave credits or not would depend on what the scan said. It's not your fault the books went lost or were delivered to the wrong house.  But I would probably also feel guilty.  Which is why I use DC on BOB deals unless it's just 1 book.

Sandra, I don't currently have BoB, but I have in the past....that's such a tough situation.  Like you, I'd feel bad and would probably offer some credits.  I would, actually, wait longer, though.  I'd keep in touch with the other member, for sure, but I'd let her know I'd like to wait until X date (whatever you pick) to see if the books show up.  I had a book take 3 or 4 months (I admit I've forgottena fter all this time, lol) just going from CA to TX.  It finally DID arrive, but we never knew where it had been 'cause there was no DC scan at all and no postmark when it arrived.  I realize that's at the extreme end of things, but with Christmas mailings it COULD happen that it's taking this long.....
