This book serves as a good reminder that Boaz may not come in the packaging you expect. And that if you are sincere in following the Lord, you've got to take Him at his whole word...not just and choose according to your biases.

I loved this book because it deals with the subtle prejudice, sometimes so long embraced that it is not recognized.

Can a successful sister get with a white man?? That is the question of the day; LaShondra Smith is a professional woman with a family, friends and a Christian; She asks for a man like Boaz(in the Bible); but when Boaz comes in the form of Stelson Brown, a nice,Christian, Caucasian man, then things gets examined and thought of from each end; A great novel exploring interracial relationships in the Christian realm;
