Jake Devlin is hired to safeguard Sabrina McAllaster while she is on vacation in Hawaii. The premise of the story, as well as the writing were good but the reaction Jake has to Sabrina was a bit unbelievable. He lowered his emotional walls too quickly and she did as well. There was really no reason given or emotion described to justify that action from these well guarded characters.
Sabrina McAllister has agreed to accept a bodyguard hired by her mother while her mother's work is being threatened by espionage. Unfortunately, Sabrina is scheduled to travel to Hawaii for a vacation / educational seminar, and is not very happy about the bodyguard accompanying her on the trip. She doesn't want him to interfere, and is afraid he will prevent her free enjoyment. Jake Devlin has accepted the job, and is going to protect Sabrina, even if she doesn't like the methods he uses. Maybe not as good as some of this author;s earlier works, but still a nice read.
