If Nemesis is one of her best mysteries, this has to be her worst. In between reading classics, I give my brain a rest with some mindless reading. But, why do I read such drivel as this? I must have some masochistic complex. Why would someone dump a body in a person's library? When you get to the denouement this will seem even more ridiculous. True to form, Miss M solves the murders early in the game, yet leaves the police (who do all the leg work) and the rest of us in the dark until the end. How she surmises many of the facts is more ludicrous than the dumping of the body. At least this is one of her shortest novels.
