From Stephanie Bond's website.  I am more interested in the books, but not too long ago she had on her website that the publiher had not picked up Body Movers for additional books.  Maybe the publisher will opt for 7&8 if it becomes a series???

GOOD NEWS:
The Body Movers series has been optioned by Sony Pictures Television for TV series development!

But... Body movers books 7 & 8 are on hold until there's news on the possible airing of a TV Pilot. Check back for updates!

I have the series in my TBR, but don't watch tv so that won't influence me. I don't fully understand why it would influence book production unless they are hoping for a possible wider market? On the other hand, there are many series that never even make it to 6 or 7, so that's already saying something.

I really enjoyed the books, they are actually keepers for me and I share them with friends looking for  a new author.  I have been waiting for 7 & 8 and I am little more disappointed.  I don't think I  would watch the series, I  very rarely watch TV.  This reminds me of  Gema Halliday (I think that is her name) where her book was optioned, they put it on the cover and nothing ever happened.

I think the Body Movers books are more a movies of the week  or special (which I don't think they make anymore and I just dated myself) than a series.  JMO
