Bone Rattler is an outstanding mystery, as well as giving a real sense of time & place. The stories of Scottish bondsmen, former indian captives, the first rangers,are played out on the wild, pristine & unforgiving frontier of colonial america.

The book took a long time to get moving. The first hundred pages were rather stagnet. Plot was okay not great. I would not continue with this series just didn't grab me.
