Looking for a book about a future where only there are only women due to some fertility issue. Then a man is found preserved in ice......

That's really all I have and can't find anything!!!

And there was one where a nuclear catastrophe (In Louisiana) rendered all males infertile, except this cat who was working in a lead mine at the time. Written in the early 70s, and I think Adam was in the title somewhere.
