When a book comes in with a placeholder title, you cannot update the title until it is published.

Example

If you try to submit a data update, the team rejects it. However, the example book has a title and description in the Amazon entry now. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a button to press that checked Amazon for updated data? That way the data team would not have to double check anything and the title would just be updated along with some of the other data. There are so many missing descriptions and other data that could be updated like this.

I prefer PBs now that my hands are having pain from neuropathy. I often find the PB version has no description while the HC does.  So I just do a copy and paste to submit it to the team.  But, yes, I do know about the publishing date driving the addition of info to the book page.

Just a note: we can submit a title change request prior to publication if we're within 60 days of the books publication date.

I like that idea Sarah.
