When you search for a book, then click on the title, usually part of the description says "members wishing" (  )  or "copies available"  (  ) Even if the number is zero, the line is still there.

Why do some books' descriptions not have this information?  The books I looked at this morning do have the "order this book" link, so there must be at least one copy available in the system.

I think if it says members wishing 0, it means there are no copies of it in the system, but it's not on any wishlists.  The only time I ever see # of copies available is when I'm looking at my reminder list.

It doesn't show you how many are in the system unless you put it on your reminder list. If it says Order This Book than there's at least 1 available.  If there's none available it'll just say Post This Book and give you the add to WL option.  It'll say how many are on WL already or just 0 if non one is WL for it at this time.

ETA: I think when the new WL comes out they will start putting the # of copies available so you won't have to add books to your RL to see.  Since they are combining the WL and RL.
