I had a book that was accidently posted to my bookshelf and was immediately put on wishlist hold with the small gray icon. I actually had about 10 books do the same as I had just posted a lot of teacher edition education books. I had singled out the original book, The Inclusive Classroom ISBN 0131540688, because I had noticed it had liquid damage on the bottom right corner as if someone had turned the pages with a wet/sweaty finger. My son picked it up and put it back in the stack I was posting without my being aware, so it got accidently posted.

I was anticipating waiting for someone to accept the offer and then I would pm them to explain about the accidental posting and offer to cancel or send it as a freebie. When I went back to my bookshelf, this book was on there, but no longer wishlisted. It had disappeared from my request tab and doesn't appear in my transaction archive at all. What happened to it?

I have since deleted it from my shelf since it is no longer wishlisted, but I'm puzzled how it suddenly disappeared from the wishlist tab.

I have a bad headache, so I'm probably just not thinking clearly.

The person who had it wishlisted declined the book offer, and they must have been the only ones on the Wish List, as it would have rolled over to the next person if there was one. Thus the book was placed on your bookshelf.

Or an I mis-reading what happened?

Sara- You're reading it correctly. There must have only been one person with that title on their wishlist and when the book was offered to them, they declined the book.
