do you straighten the pages out or leave the pages creased on the corners.

I'm a straightener too.

I also straighten and put under heavy books to try to maintain that. Leaving them dog-eared weakens the paper and eventually causes it to break off. My Mom taught us to use bookmarks of all kinds years ago.

Depends - if its a book I'm gonna' read and keep, then no (unless they cover up some of the wordage.)
If I'm gonna' post the book, then yes I'll straighten up all the pages - regardless of wether I'm gonna' read the book or not...

Who wants a twisted-sister book?

HaHAHA-life is wonderful

NASA says URANUS in the night sky is a sight to behold - but  I prefer to look upon VENUS in the morning light -
go figure . . . .a page straightener is better than a paper hanger (unless of course you make a living hanging paper).
I had (have) a couple of BIL that made their living hanging paper (wallpaper).

Straighten them (have to do this at FOL used bookstore where I volunteer too) and if I'm gonna post, I will iron the creases-- works like a charm!

Jeanne - yes

I'm another who straightens them - left too long, they invariably break off...
