I posted  a book without an ISBN number and it is wishlisted but it went to my shelf instead of going to the next person in line for it. I am thinking about posting about it in the another thread but not sure what to do to get the information out there.

If it's the identical book to the WL that you have,, but simply lacking an ISBN completely, there are two things you can do:

1)  since yours is posted without an ISBN, it's not WL so you can start a thread in the Book Bazaar forum about the book and indicate you have a book with a short ISBN posted on your shelf that's  WL under ISBN 123...

2) put a tag on the actual WL book saying posted under ISBN 123456 (the short ISBN on your shelf).

Many times only specific copies of books are WL, such as large print or a special collector copy and the 'regular' copies are available in the system normally, FIFO. Book club editions, too, are often plentiful and sometimes they don't have an ISBN.
