I was digging around tonight and came across the Book Journal.  I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could play with it for a week and see how it works -- but I can't find answers to a lot of my questions in the Help Docs.

If you make an entry public -- where does it go?  I didn't find it on my profile or with the book.  If other's have their entries private or public, how do you know?  I'd like to see what other people are doing, but if they have the "Journal" icon next to their name and you click on it, it just takes me to my own journal?

Oh!  And if I don't sign up before the seven days' expiration, do I lose everything I've already done and have to start over if/when I *do* sign up?

I tried an import of my TBR file, and it didn't seem to do anything?  Since I can access my TBR, BIR and bookshelf from the Journal pages, is there a reason to import anything?

Have I missed some really obvious stuff?  The Help Docs are usually so helpful -- it's probably just way past time I should be in bed.  :-)

TIA!

I just went to my journal to see what happens to those entries--and really had to dig to find what happens if they are public. It said that public entries are visible on your profile page. I'm not sure if shows a link or if the actual entries show up there.

Thanks, Barbara --

I just went to your profile and don't see anything that looks like it might be a journal entry.  Are your's private then?

I made a test entry myself and made it public and didn't see anything on my profile?

Kris, you don't lose any changes you made in the first week.  I used it for a week then enrolled and all the stuff I had put in was still there.
