well not a lendle problem.  I downloaded a sample of a book and was hooked on the first page. I made the mistake of listing it on Lendle right away. Of course I get an immediate request.  It's a WL book there so I shouldn't have listed it. I just figured it would take a day or so. It's only a .99 cent book. So I figured it wouldn't be jumped on right away.

If I turn off my WIFI and don't reconnect, when I lend the book out-will I still be able to read it on my kindle? It's short so I wouldn't have to stay disconnected long. I usually keep it off for battery life anyway.  I was just wondering if lending the book automatically turns on my WIFI and makes it unavailable.

OK lucky me got another request right after.  So I lent that one with my WIFI off and could still access it.  So I went ahead and lent the one I was reading. Otherwise, I might have let the request sit or hit the not now option.

Yes, same goes with library books, if you don't turn on wifi, the book won't disappear.
