Does anyone know of a way to permanently delete deleted List Comments on your own book list.  these would be comments you have added to your own list.  As an example:  http://www.paperbackswap.com/Sherris-HSRVB-Books/list/2267/ .  I would like to clean up the list and delete the 5 blank comments that were added and then deleted at the bottom of the list.

Some players are using book list in the virtual boxes and would like to make notes when they add and delete books.

My working relationship with booklists is kinda sketch Sherri.  I can see where to delete comments (and have used it) but the footprint appears to remain after the comment is deleted.

I don't know of any way to delete the deleted comments, Sherri.  FYI, I'm seeing the same thing you are on your list, so it's not just the list creator who sees the deleted comment notes.

You could ask the Admin Team if keeping the deleted comment boxes visible is deliberate or not. I know that in a forum discussion, we can delete our comment, but not the box it was sitting in.  And each time we edit, a record of the date of the edit appears in the box.  This means that someone can't just delete something and say that they never said it.  The edit will show.  Maybe it's the same thing going on here, or maybe it wasn't intended.

Possible work arounds: 1) move the books to a new list and delete the current one, or  2) use the deleted comments -- you can edit each one in turn to add a comment.
