I am interested in a book posted here on PBS.....but the person says it is missing the cd that goes with it. Is that playable that way or should it have been offered in book bazaar??

If the book clearly states it comes with a cd, then it's unpostable without the cd. 

I just recently requested a credit back because the pocket for the cd was empty. The complete info is in the help docs. I just can't find it now.

Found it this time:

 

Supplementary/Accompanying Materials:

  • Books that require supplementary Media materials MAY be posted -  the supplementary Media materials MUST be included.

    • supplementary Media materials include CD(s)/CD-ROMs/DVD(s)/VHS tape(s)
    • if the book originally included supplementary Media materials, the supplementary materials must accompany the book for the book to be postable.
    • The supplementary materials cannot be posted alone - both the book and the supplementary media must be included in the posting.  
    • These combination listings are valued at 1 credit.

Yes, any original accompanying media should be with the item to be postable.

What Melanie said, Media is the key word here and should not have been posted FIFO without the CD.

IIRC other items such as hair accessories, puzzles, etc. are handled differently.
