Was marked recieved, I'm guessing DC..I emailed one of the R's about it and never got a response...but the book is back on the senders shelf and she still hasn't responded to a pm I sent her!

 

What the heck!!  It is the same one I ordered...I never got the book..I'm out a credit and now it is back  on her shelf!  I wonder if it got returned to her...

 

Any ideas?

If you havent had a response from you PM and it has been over a week, use the Help Center tab at the top of the page. Click it, not the drop down menu and choose the contact the PBS Team by sending in feedback. By using that method you will get a much quicker response since whoever is covering the feedback emails can see if they can help you, instead of emailing Richard, who may be busy with other thing. Robert may not answer since he is leaving. I have found the best way to contact PBS is through the PBS Team.

Thanks, Cheryl...last time I was told to email R&R...I didn't even know that page was there!!  So I just did the feedback thing...

 

Thank you...I hope this thing finally gets resolved..

So you ordered a book, didn't get it, and it was marked in the system that you did? Were you away from your account for a while? Because the only way the system will mark it received is if you had not logged into your account for a while and did not respond to emails from the system. Even with DC showing as delivered, the system will not mark a book sent to an active member as received, only the receiver can do that.  Are you certain you have given up a credit for this book? It may have just went lost in the system and moved to your transaction archive as an uncompleted transaction and your credit returned. In your trans archive is there a check mark or a bid red X? If you hit the details button on the transaction, what does it say happened? Look in your credit registry for a + for the book going lost.

Have you checked your credit registry to make sure the credit was returned?  Are you sure the book isn't now pending w/someone else?

Like Melanie said-it won't mark it received for you unless you hadn't logged into your account in quite a while and looked inactive. 

It's also possible that she had more than one copy of the book and posted the 2nd as soon as yours was marked mailed.  You can only have one copy of a book on your shelf at one time.

I posted about this a while back, and the credit was not returned...it is sitting on the senders shelf....My computer had broken for maybe a week...and I think either there was a DC scan or it timed out, either way it got marked and I couldn't fix it...no return pm from the sender...and now the book is on her shelf again...

 

My computer was only down for about a week...and I had other books that I marked received before it went down, I am thinking it was DC because I would've sworn I had more time before it would've timed out....

 

I just think it is odd that she won't respond, and now the book is on her shelf again..I PM'd her when I saw it was back on there, and still no response...

Thank you to the feedback team for fixing this!!!

 

The sender pulled the book off her shelf again, it was her shelf that had the book on it...I checked specifically...dishonest people suck!
