I believe I have seen posts that list the book the poster is reading now.  If I didn't imagine it could someone please tell me if there's a place to enter that other than while writing a post?

Mostly what I've seen is people using their forum posts to announce what their reading via their forum settings.  Kind of like a signature on an email.  You can access it through your profile edit, then scroll down to forum settings.  Obviously, you would need to modify it when ever you've finished a book.  But it would show each time you posted in the threads.

I'm not aware of any other way.

It's on the profile page. You can also enter it on your signature line under Settings. 

I believe the profile page is one of the things that is automatically filled in if you leave it blank? From recently arrived book orders, if I recall correctly. I think we need to enter one book to turn off the auto fill feature.

On your profile page  click the edit button at the bottom of the "About Me" section. That opens up your settings. Under Forum Settings you'll see a signature window. That is where you would type in any information you want to show on your forum posts. I used to have a snappy quote, but now  it's just reading now and Just finished and a couple links.

In addition to the above instructions regarding your Forum Settings, other settings are also available to further customize your account. Place your cursor over the My Account tab in the gray bar near the top of any PBS page and select Settings from the drop down.

Privacy Controls are set from the yellow bar at the top of the Settings page.
